Books for children…with a message for all!
Marc Colagiovanni is a children’s book author whose stories explore self-worth, resilience, kindness, and the courage to keep moving forward. Inspired by his wife and three daughters, Marc writes with the hope that his books will create meaningful conversations between children and the adults who care for them.
Before becoming a published author, Marc spent more than a decade learning, writing, revising, and finding new ways to share his work. His unconventional journey began with The Reflection in Me, which first reached audiences as an animated film created with FableVision Studios and featuring the artwork of Peter H. Reynolds. The story later became a published picture book with Scholastic.
Marc is also the author of the New York Times bestseller When Things Aren’t Going Right, Go Left. Through warmth, humor, and heartfelt storytelling, his books remind readers that they have the power to recognize their own worth, navigate difficult moments, and choose a new direction when the path ahead feels uncertain.
Marc believes that books written for children can carry messages for readers of every age. His goal is simple: to create stories that help children feel seen, open conversations, and place something meaningful into the world.
